This press print was made under permission of the photographer's estate to promote a LIFE Magazine photo exhibition that toured Japan in 1990. It is over 30 years old and was intended for circulation to media organizations who requested it for publishing in print or television broadcast. It was not made from the original negative, but instead from a master negative made specially for making multiple prints. On the back of the print is the title, photo credit, caption and copyright terms in English and Japanese.
Borderless, smaller sized glossy RC gelatin silver print used for publishing. Frisket paper with layout notations is still attached.
