Gelatin silver print from an American photography museum, made in the early 1980s.
Details:
This print was made by a photography museum in the 1980s under permission of the photographer's estate. On the reverse, a museum caption label is affixed by tape. This publicity print, which is more than 35 years old was made for the sole purpose of promoting the artist. It was intended for circulation to media organizations who requested it for publishing in articles or television broadcast. It was not made from the original negative, but instead from a master negative made specially for making multiple prints that consistently looked the same.
Glossy, RC gelatin silver print on medium weight paper.
