Vntg 6" Dia Chrome on Brass Nautical Fog Bell w/ Verdigris Patina No Wall Plate

Up for auction is a
Vntg 6" Dia Chrome on Brass Nautical Fog Bell w/ Verdigris Patina and comes without a mounting Wall Plate.
It weighs and is 4 1/4" tall from the bottom rim of the bell to the top of top nut and weighs 1.16 lbs. Bell has no makers mark on it. I found this at a Seattle WA yard sale.

This well used ship's fog/warning bell was mounted either on a boat or a boathouse for a number of years where it was exposed to a lot of saltwater, wind, rain and sun. The bell has a working clapper with a leather lace attached to it. The bell has a lovely A-sharp note one octave above the middle C octave. The patina has some scuffs and scratches on it exposing the chrome surface. It comes without its wall plate which looks like it could be ordered on the Perko Inc. website, part number: Chrome on brass fog/warning 6" bell-0420-6"
