Vintage Sheet Iron Golfer Weather Vane

Description

This is a fun sheet iron weather vane in the form of a golfer. Very well constructed the vane has several layers of old paint with a hint of gold guild. Not positive what the original colors were as it had been repainted. The arrow point is 3 dimensional and has a great look. Another exiting feature is the hits from bullets being shot at the vane, a sign of a high mounted vane, must have been on the top of a building. What a storied life it has had, early to mid 1900's.
The weather vane is mounted on an folk art iron stand for display purposes. The vane stands 26 1/2" tall x 34" long.
