ANTENNA OF THE MONTH SPECIAL IF YOU ORDER FROM THIS AD IN JANUARY ONLY.  Wire color varies.  This dipole has been built for reliability and performance and will withstand severe weather conditions.  It has been optomized for the 11 meter citizen's band only.  The antenna is built to be used with 50 to75 ohm feedlines and can be used with full legal 5 watts or any amount up to 1500 watts of power and will provide a close match when properly installed, (low swr) to any CB radio or amplifier.  Materials include 14ga stranded pure copper ele
ments, poly end insulators and solid fiberglass encapsulated UHF SO-239 termination.  There is no exposed metal hardware to corrode or rust from exposure to extreme weather conditions.  The encapsulated termination prohibits the collection of condensation eliminating intermittant and high resistance connections which can cause intermittant or even no reception and poor efficiency.  It is my own experience in using and building dipole antennas for more than 50 years that this type of antenna rates high in performance for not only stateside communications, but also dx work. As with any antenna, proper installation is important for best performance. If you have a favorite or mostly used frequency outside of the band, we will cut the antenna for resonance at those frequencies.  Thanks for your interest.  73, Don
