Cover franked with 16c Charles Brooke, tied by Kuching c.d.s., Kuching AIR MAIL handstamped flight marking beside (18 July), endorsed "Per Air Mail to Singapore" carried on the seaplane Venus, with same-day c.d.s. arrival backstamp, an attractive and desirable early flight cover.
The Venus left Kuching at 7am on July 14, but due to bad weather, the pilot had to land in Pontianak, where he dismantled the plane and shipped it to Singapore.
