This is a reproduction, not a photocopy, of an original Powermatic Belsaw Planer-Molder Maintenance Instructions and Parts Manual. This Powermatic manual contains information on the safety, operating instructions and parts. It discusses the sharpening of knives; how to hone them, when to sharpen them, and how to replace the knives.
The manual covers how to properly lubricate the planer and periodic maintenance. How to make adjustments to the cutting depth, the feed roller tension, and how to level the cutterhead. It also covers the optional feed speed sprocket change & transmission v-belt tightening as well as a complete set of exploded view diagrams of the parts with list.
Please note: We have no control of the format and amount of content in the original manual. This manual contains a few photographs of the machine to point out different parts. These photographs were very dark from the original. The manual mainly uses diagrams which are clear and easy to read.
