***I bought a bunch of items from a Pottery Barn sample sale. Items in my store labeled "sample" are exactly that--items that Pottery Barn is/was considering to purchase from various manufacturers. They may have tags that say "Pottery Barn" or "Pottery Barn Kids" or "Pottery Barn Teen." The sewn in tags may or may not be accurate to sizing, etc. They also might be of slightly lesser quality if they are a first-run sample. We have checked for any defects, issues, etc, and will note them below.***

This looks very similar to the Corduroy Cozy sherpa quilt they produced (I have them in my store), but the stitching on this sample quilt goes from large diamonds to medium diamonds and then small (you can see that in the photo of it laid out). I'm guessing they changed that stitching/quilting detail in the final sample.
The sham has a slightly faded strip right through the middle--it's really hard to see, so I'm guessing it just sat for a long long time folded in half near the sun. I didn't notice it when I was buying it, only when I took the photo. The sham's back is sherpa and not reinforced, so you can tell it's a first run sample.
