To help finance the Civil War, Revenue Stamps were issued during the 1860's and used on such taxables as playing cards, photographs,passports and Banknotes such as those shown in the scan.
Now nearly 150 years old each one of these banknotes is dated and in typical condition especially for the age. These were discovered in an old New England attic stored away for many years. Once gone this vintage collection is unlikely to ever be found again. I am offering these for Collectors - Dealers - Traders - Entrepeneurs - Crafters.
