This auction features a Motorola MT7711 24x8 Cable Modem & AC1900 Dual Band WiFi Gigabit Router + 2 Phone Lines Combo with the original box, power cable, Ethernet cable, phone cord, velcro cable tie, Coax cable wrench, and various booklets/instructions. A pin for clicking the recessed reset button on the back is NOT included, however the device has already been reset to factory settings!
This device gave me fast and reliable Internet while I was going through rough times at grad school and still works fantastic. It has little to no cosmetic wear and was used regularly for about 6 or 7 months, on and off.
As shown in the pictures, I was able to hook up my laptop to the Motorola after a factory reset, but please be aware I had a little trouble with the Wi-Fi until I used the WPS button with the 5 GHz network; afterwards, my laptop was able to easily connect to the router! I'm not sure if that's just because my previous network settings were saved to my laptop, but I wanted to make a note for transparency's sake. Again: clicking the WPS button on the back fixed some hiccups when first connecting to the router after resetting it!
The only other comment I'll make is I'm a bit confused by eBay's included details for this device: their description says the maximum downstream/download speed is 246 Mbps, yet the Motorola box says that's the maximum upload speed; the maximum download speed is apparently 1,000 Mbps. Not sure what's going on here, so please feel free to do extra research. Pictures of the box are included with this auction.
