Morocco Agencies: Tangier 1897/25-Centimos, Gibraltar Stamp Used to Lyon, France

This cover was sent on December 4, 1897, from the British Morocco Agency in Tangier, to Lyon, France!!
The bar numeral, "A26," over the blue, 25-Centimos, Gibraltar stamp(in fine condition!) is 90% complete, though a bit lighter than one would like. There is also a nice, complete CDS from the B.P.O. in Tangier. The cover was then sent on to Gibraltar, where is received a great transit cancel on December 6th. Finally, the mail reached Lyon, France, on what looks like December 10, 1897.
Lastly, as for the condition of the cover, itself, it is pretty good. The back flap is intact. The envelope was opened at the top, and left, not exactly ideal. And, there is some soiling on it, mainly on the back, at the top.
But, all things considered, as I have found few, similar item like this one in the last 41 years, it's a unique, early example of Gibraltar stamps used on covers from the British Post Office in Tangier!
