  • Condition: Manning Bowman Vintage 1911 Electric Cigarette Cigar Lighter Smoking Stand Accessory Made by Manning Bowman Co. of Meriden, Connecticut. It has a June 10, 1911 Patent Date and is in working condition. Working Condition. The original fabric covered cord is still attached to the lighter. The cloth covering is deteriorated, and the inner wires have been repaired. We plugged the lighter in, and pushed the button on the front, and the lighter still works. It's made of bronze-colored metal, with a nice patina. It stands on three wide legs, with an ornate design on them, with the same design repeated on the globular upright just beneath the lighter head. The lighter stands about 6-1/2" high. There's a small dent on the top of the unit which I have photographed. A nice rare lighter to add to a collection. Please see photos.
