26’ x 62’ 9 Mil Husky Brand Flame Retardant Shrink Wrap - White
When certain situations require additional fire safety considerations, Husky Brand Fire Retardant Shrink Wrap is the solution. It is typically used to wrap damaged roofs or in construction applications where fire prevention safety protocols are necessary.
Fire Retardant or FR Husky Brand Heat Shrink Wrap is available in 9 and 12 Mil thicknesses, FR shrink wrap can withstand MUCH more stress and abuse than your everyday 7 Mil shrink wrap. On top of being more puncture-resistant, thicker films can take more sustained heat while shrinking. Fire Retardant shrink wraps have additives that make the material much less likely to carry a flame. The FR additives also make the film slightly softer to the touch when compared to 10 mil standard shrink wrap. Film thicknesses greater than 7 mil are necessary for industrial or otherwise heavy-duty applications and long-distance road transportation.
