Grumbacher Mussini Trekell Robert Simmons Signet Royal Langnickle Royal Sable

Various brands - Including - Grumbacher Mussini, Robert Simmons Signet, Royal Langnickel Royal Sable and Trekell.
This is a mixed bag.
Looking at the first photo - working from left to right:
the 1st, 2nd 3rd 5th and the 7th brush are all hog hair and have been modified and sanded down to be scrubber brushes - they are also clean at the base (not just old ruined brushes with dried paint that whose bristles don't move at all... ) So they do a good job of really scrubbing. But be aware - you have to clean them well to keep them working as scrubbing into canvas pushes paint into the ferrule.
The 4th brush is the strangest little thing - it is mongoose or badger, a vintage royal langnickle and is very stubby - but that seems to be it's original design. It is very old but sturdy and bristles keep their shape well. Not caked with paint.
The 6th brush is a little disaster hog hair.
It actually looks better in the photos than it behaves. It
is supposed to be a filbert, but acts like it was made by blind ferrets. Probably due to poor care or hard use as signets are usually great.
The  last three are good regular hog hair brushes. The yellow is a vintage Grumbacher Mussini. They are very reliable - probably from the 60's or 70's.
