Victorian Triton Ship's Bellows Foghorn By Alldays & Onions Coc.1890 - 1910Offered is a very unique and rare hand operated Victorian Triton ship's bellows fog horn made by the famous early auto and motorcycle company Alldays and Onions of Birmingham, England. This is a example of a ship's hand operated fog / fire horn. The loud horn is air operated from a leatherbound wood sided bellows with a brass horn and internal brass reed that screws into place. It will be shipped unscrewed but is easy to screw into place. The size is 34" and in overall good condition, but the reed needs to be adjusted as it doesn't make the loud foghorn sound. The stamped brand name "TRITON" is still visible on the brass horn neck but there is very little of the company's name stamp still visible on the forward portion of the same horn neck.   These were sold as fog / fire horns for ships after 1889 but before 1910. Museum worthy and really neat display piece.
