Antique Nautical Ships (?) Brass Bell with hooked arm and decorated
This eBay listing is for what I believe is an early 18th Century antique Brass Bell with hooked arm and decoration that goes all the way around the bell.   There is a brass hooked arm at the top and the only bells I could find that had this online were Nautical Ships bells.   There is some pitting in the decoration that goes around the center of the bell that appear to have a rope design at the base.   The overall size of the bell is just over 6" tall and the opening at the bottom is 5 1/8" across.   No names or hallmarks found.   The clanger piece inside is attached to a newer wire so that piece isn't original.   The overall weight of this bell is just over 2 1/2 pounds.
