Antique Fog Horn - Nautical Fog Horn Air Pump - Maritime Pump Fog Horn

Description

- An original, large, unique, nautical pump fog horn, air pump.
- Made By: Stenhouse Equipment.
- Double bellows air pump fog horn.
- Ready to be repurposed, used as decor, or added to collection.
- Measurements:  25" T  x  26" L x 10" W
- Condition: Good, with a beautiful patina. The horn is in working condition and still makes a fairly loud noise when used. (similar to a loud duck call). Please see pictures.
- This was a foot operated air supply pump for either a Deep Sea Diving Helmet or Firefighters Smoke Helmet. This originally was an air pump used to pump fresh air into the safety helmet using the double bellow system operation.
To operate the bellows, the large aluminum foot pedal was pressed down and using the tension of the large spring, air can be sent to the helmet.
