    Description

    Tunable to 27-35 MHZ by removing turns of wire from top fiberglass whip with outer coating. These were made by Hy-Gain. Use a pair to make "twin trucker antenna." Length 62" & weighs ~1.5 lb. is similar to the "Pal Firestick" antenna designed for CB radio service but will work well on the 10 Meter ham radio band. They also work well as a broadband receiving antenna for scanners. We've bracketed two of them together to form a rotatable horizontal dipole and worked Ireland from California on 10 Meter FM running 10 watts.
