The antenna is 4 ft. tall, weatherproof, white with a black cap, Has standard 3/8" x 24 (male) heavy duty thread. You need a mount or you could tap the 3/8x 24, a common size. And a coax cable. (We usually have this in 3' length also)
Notes: If using high power, be sure your cable is also rated for high power. (Always test radio equipment on low power first, then proceed to higher power.) In cars, height counts, so use some sort of mount that adds a few inches of height. (We also sell 6" height extenders.) This is the antenna ONLY. You need something to screw it into. This is not flexible in the way that a whip is. If you frequent parking garages with low ceilings, the car roof center might be too high (Put it lower, or switch to a whip). Uses the car's metal shell as a ground plane to direct the signal upward; do not use it as a base station.
