    1898 Spanish American War Era Checks w Revenue Stamps Vineland New Jersey
    Nice group of 5 bank checks from builder Walter Foulk and drawn on the Vineland NJ National Bank. Each has the required 2 cent revenue tax stamp to help finance the war with Spain, either the red battleship or the provisional overprinted regular issue. All are dated before the official end of the war in December 1898.
