Choose Tram for your next antenna installation project with this CB Base Antenna. This 3 ft. antenna is omnidirectional and no Ground Plane Required (includes chart for optimal coax lengths for best performance)
The Tram 1499 is a high-performance, well-constructed CB antenna that can be used virtually anywhere. At only 39" long and built with fiberglass radome technology, the 1499 also does not require a ground plane. This makes it ideal for use on fiberglass RV's and boat walls and on top of almost any roof!   The bandwidth on this antenna also covers the full 10m Amateur Band making it an ideal HF antenna when a ground plane may not be practical.
